The model Xerox 6204 is a large format copier and printer designed for large documents. The dimensions maximum that can copy 6204 are 36 inches (91.44 cm) wide by 49.2 inches (124.46 cm) long. Must be at least 11 inches (27.94 cm) wide to use it. The diagnosis of possible causes of a problem when it occurs is the first step in the troubleshooting process. Instructions

Check that the power switch is in the “On” if the exposure lamp does not light. Make sure the cable cord is properly connected to the power outlet and the back of the printer.

Connect the cable to the controller and IEEE 1394 scanning system if the control panel displays an image of a continuous clock and the system will not boot. The printer can not be started if the cable data is loose or disconnected.

Raise the Document Feeder if the screen shows that the “Scanner not ready”. Turns the scanning system and the printer. Turn off the system scan again and wait for the screen to display a “p”. Turn off the printer again.

Press the “Start” if the scan does not scan system automatically when a document is inserted. If the Browser is not enabled, it will start by itself.

Run the diagnostic test if the scanning system to measure the width of the original is incorrect. Press the main button. Scroll up or down to “Diagnostics”. Scroll to “Diagnostic Scanner”. Select “Component Testing”. Select sensors. The diagnosis will run detection sensors or you can also CLICK HERE.
