Open the finisher cover by pulling it. The classifier is the area right next to the output tray. Now you will see the stapler cartridge.

Hold the lever on the cartridge down as it strips it out of the copier. Hold both sides of the staple cartridge with one hand while you raise the upper unit with the other.

Removing the refill empty stapler in the direction of the arrow, out of the cartridge. Push the new refill into the cartridge until you hear a click.

Push the upper unit down on the cartridge until it clicks into place. The recharging of the stapler will now safely in the cartridge. Tape strip attached to the unit charge out of the cartridge.

Hold the cartridge lever stapler down while pushing the drive to put it back on the Ricoh copier. Keep pushing the cartridge until it clicks into place. Close the front cover. The copier and stapled unit is now ready for use www.CopierRepairPortland.com.
